The main duty of the Research and Development Office is to deal with the long-term issues concerning the promotion of academic research and development plan of National Taiwan University of Arts. The Research and Development Office was formerly known as the Career Placement Office during the period of National Taiwan Institute of Arts.

As this institution status of the school was upgraded from National Taiwan Institute of Arts to National Taiwan College of Arts in August, 1994, and subsequently National Taiwan University of Arts in August 2001, the Office was renamed from the Career Placement Office to the Research and Development Division, and the Research and Development Office based on the growing academic development of our institute.

To implement the specific missions, the Research and Development Office is composed of two divisions and two centers:

  • Research & Planning Division.
  • Academic & Development Division.
  • Innovation Incubator Center.
  • Think Tank for Taiwan Cultural Policy
