Our center was established in 1999 (ROC Year 88) in line with national policy to foster innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It began as a project-based unit to meet the entrepreneurial and guidance needs of students, alumni, and the arts and culture industries. In 2012 (ROC Year 101), it formally became the Innovation Incubation Center under the Office of Research and Development. To better integrate industry-academia collaboration and incubation operations, the university merged the Industry-Academia Collaboration Development Center and the Innovation Incubation Center in 2021 (ROC Year 110), consolidating resources to enhance collaboration between the university and businesses.

Our center now serves as a communication bridge among faculty, students, and enterprises, facilitating resource integration, providing incubation and industry guidance, supporting student entrepreneurship, and creating industry-academia collaboration opportunities.
